Rudraksha means in English "Tears of Shiva".
According to the legend, Rudraksha trees grew exactly where Shiva's tears fell to the ground. High in the Himalayas, close to the sky, Rudraksha trees have always been attributed with strong spiritual powers.
It is said that the seeds have a calming effect on our nervous system. They absorb and amplify the energy of the wearer, wrapping them in a cocoon of their own energy. This way, one remains stable within themselves and is protected from negative energies from the outside. At the same time, they are supportive during meditations, mindfulness training or rituals, as they make it easier to find one's own center.
